There’s a particular kind of tired that comes from building alone.
It is not just the "building" work, but having to carry every decision on your own, having no one to think out loud with, and nobody who notices when you’ve gone quiet for three weeks because you’re stuck. It starts to hit with conviction, then you slowly wonder if you heard right at all.
If you’re carrying an idea God placed in you (a business, a product, a ministry, a project), you may know that tiredness well.
And you may have assumed it’s just the price of building something. I don't think it is.
The builder God named
In Exodus 31, God gave instructions for the Tabernacle. Before a single beam was raised, He named the person who would build it: Bezalel. He filled him with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill.
Then He said this:
“And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab… and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee.”
(Exodus 31:6, KJV)
God called Bezalel. God equipped him. And God didn’t send him to build alone.
Called. Equipped. Accompanied.
Most of us have the first one settled. We know we’ve been called to build something.
Fewer of us believe we’re equipped. We doubt our skills, or we lack the structure to turn vision into steady progress.
And very few of us have the third. We build in isolation and treat it as normal.
But the Bezalel model was never one builder against the world. It was a called person, given the skill for the work, surrounded by others who shared it.
That’s the better way to build.
